Oddly Specific is a multiplayer drawing and guessing game. It can be played without creating an account.

1. Information We Collect

We try to collect as little personal information as possible.

Information you provide during gameplay

When you play Oddly Specific, we may temporarily process the following information for the duration of the game:

• Room codes
• Player nicknames
• Avatar choices
• Game state, such as the current round or phase
• Digital drawings created in the game
• Votes, scores, and game results
• Timestamps related to game activity

This information is used only to run the game session. It is not intended to be stored permanently.

At the end of a game, players may have the option to copy or download drawings. If a player chooses to download, copy, screenshot, or share game content, that action is controlled by the player and is outside of our control.

Contact form messages

If you contact us through a form or by email, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, and any details needed to respond to your question, feedback, or support request.

We use contact messages only to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, improve the site, or handle legitimate support needs.

We do not collect payment information, account login information, or email addresses for gameplay.

2. Automatically Collected Information

We use limited analytics and technical monitoring tools to understand site traffic, monitor performance, and identify errors.

This may include:

• Website visit information through Cloudflare Web Analytics
• Country-level location information
• Technical logs through AWS services, such as CloudWatch, for error monitoring, debugging, security, and performance

We do not use Google Analytics.

We do not knowingly collect precise location data. We do not intentionally collect or use IP addresses for user profiling. Some hosting, security, or infrastructure providers may temporarily process technical information as part of delivering and protecting the site.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

Oddly Specific does not intentionally use cookies for advertising or tracking.

The site may use temporary browser storage, such as local storage or session storage, to support gameplay. This may include temporary information such as your nickname, avatar choice, room state, or other session details needed for the game to work properly.

This information is used for the duration of gameplay and is not used for advertising.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage multiplayer game rooms
• Allow players to draw, vote, score, and complete game rounds
• Display player nicknames, avatars, drawings, votes, and scores during gameplay
• Provide support and respond to contact form messages
• Monitor site performance and fix technical issues
• Protect the site from misuse, errors, or abuse
• Understand general site usage, such as visits by country

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use player drawings, nicknames, votes, or scores for advertising.

5. User-Generated Content

Oddly Specific includes user-generated drawings. Players draw on a digital canvas, and those drawings may be visible to other players in the same game room.

Because drawings are created by users, we cannot guarantee that all drawings will be appropriate, accurate, respectful, or suitable for all audiences. Players are responsible for the content they create and share during gameplay.

CozyCabinOps is not responsible for user-generated drawings, nicknames, or other content created by players.

6. How Long We Keep Information

Gameplay information is kept only for the duration of the game session. This includes room codes, nicknames, avatar choices, drawings, votes, scores, and game state.

After the game ends, this gameplay information is intended to be removed and is not saved permanently by Oddly Specific.

Contact form messages may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, resolve an issue, maintain records, or protect the site.

Technical logs may be retained by our service providers for a limited period for security, debugging, performance monitoring, and operational purposes.

Because gameplay data is temporary and anonymous, we may not be able to identify or delete specific game session data after a game has ended.

7. Third-Party Services

Oddly Specific uses third-party service providers to operate, host, secure, and monitor the site. These may include:

• Amazon Web Services, including services such as API Gateway, Lambda, WebSocket services, S3, DynamoDB, Route 53, and CloudWatch
• Cloudflare, including analytics and security-related services
• GitHub, for code hosting and development workflows

These providers may process technical information as needed to provide their services.

We do not currently use advertising networks or payment providers for Oddly Specific.

8. Children and Minors

Oddly Specific is intended for general audiences, but users must be at least 13 years old to play.

If you are under the age of majority in your location, you should use Oddly Specific only with the accompaniment, supervision, and monitoring of a parent or legal guardian.

Oddly Specific is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Because the game includes user-generated drawings, parents and guardians should be aware that player-created content may be unpredictable.

9. International Users

Oddly Specific is operated from Canada but may be accessed by players in Canada, the United States, and other countries.

By using the site, you understand that information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other locations where our service providers operate.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can choose not to provide a nickname, although a nickname may be needed to join or play a game.

You can choose not to submit a contact form message.

You can also choose not to copy, download, screenshot, or share drawings from a game.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information. Because gameplay data is temporary and not connected to an account, we may not be able to identify or delete anonymous session data after a game has ended.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect the site and the limited information processed through it.

No website or online service can guarantee complete security. Players should avoid entering sensitive personal information into nicknames, drawings, or contact messages.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
